Sometimes only part of a property is used. For example, an owner stay may only use one bedroom and one bathroom. It is natural to consider if a discount would apply. Unfortunately, we do not provide discounts.
Why don't you provide a discount if you don't have to clean the entire property?
Even though only part of the property was used, there are costs associated with our team to show up to the property. Examples are gas for the cleaning pro to get there, linen/towels costs, admin cost to coordinate the clean, the cost-benefit ratio for our cleaning pros. We would have trouble getting the property cleaned to a high standard if we discounted how much we pay our cleaning pros. It would not be worth their time or money for them.
What do you recommend we do if we do not want to pay the entire cleaning fee?
Our recommendation would be to have the guest clean the property, focusing on the areas they used. We recommend assigning one of your staff to perform a quality check after the guest completes the cleaning to make sure it is up to standards. Check they washed all the linens along with the towels, and the floors are clean. Confirm the correct amount of starter supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags are present.
If you do not want to risk the property will not be 100% guest ready for the next arrival, we recommend paying the full guest departure fee so that we can clean your property to the standard your guests deserve.
